Within the grounds of a Shell gas station in Sri Maha Pho, Prachinburi, there once stood a modest café called “COFFEE STATION”—a familiar roadside stop for travelers seeking a short break. With its industrial-style architecture common in rural areas, the design transformation did not begin from scratch, but rather from a deep understanding of what already existed.
Brewtanist is a respectful reinvention of the former space—guided by the idea of extending to reveal rather than replacing to conceal. The design uncovers the site’s quiet potential, bringing forth calmness, openness, brightness, and a contemporary spirit. Every architectural element was carefully considered—from the central skylight that welcomes natural light, to the double-height volume that lends a sense of airiness, the greenhouse embraced by nature, and the natural wood lines and materials that imbue the space with warmth in every corner.

The interior of Brewtanist is designed to reflect a sense of calm, clarity, and connection to nature. At its core is a U-shaped slow bar that invites interaction, framed by a palette of white stone, warm wood, and soft textures. The layout emphasizes openness and flow, with gentle lighting that highlights key areas without overpowering the space.
Natural light filters through full-height glazing and a central skylight, creating a rhythm of brightness and shadow throughout the day. The materials and furnishings—wooden seating, floating shelves, and earthy finishes—blend seamlessly with the greenhouse views outside, blurring the line between interior and exterior and turning a simple café into a place of quiet retreat.
